Pay Rate/Range: $15-18/hr
Description: Seeking a Shop Hand for a local furniture assembly facility. The Shop Hand will assemble furniture such as cabinets, tables, frames, and other wooden products. The Shop Hand will also sand, clean the shop, operate machines, and perform other general labor duties as needed. This job has a lot of variety, as projects and orders change frequently -- so will not be a repetitive role. Will produce and assemble new products frequently, so must enjoy variety. Seeking those with assembly, machine operator, carpentry, or general labor backgrounds for this role.
Job Requirements: Must be strong at shop math and measuring. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Facility is not climate-controlled and can get very warm. Previous experience with carpentry, assembly, or machine operation is required.
Shift/Schedule: 1st shift
