Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Onsite – Tamarac, FL

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST), with additional hours as needed

Salary: $93,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the design and improvement of production machinery and processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in a dynamic manufacturing

environment. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across production, quality, materials, and engineering to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, machinery, and workflows.
• Ensure all processes comply with OSHA and environmental regulations and promote ergonomic safety.
• Support new product development by defining processes, developing tools and gauges, creating work instructions, and coordinating with engineering and production teams.
• Develop and implement systems such as FMEA, SPC, Process Capability Analysis, and DOE to maintain and improve product quality.
• Utilize lean manufacturing tools to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across operations.
• Lead capital equipment acquisition and facility layout planning projects.
• Analyze floor space utilization and recommend plant modifications, equipment placement, and workflow enhancements.
• Work closely with design engineering, purchasing, and suppliers to support material and tooling decisions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and lead the design, build, and implementation of small automation projects; manage vendor-led larger automation projects.
• Support the development and tracking of key production metrics including OEE and TEEP.
• Provide technical support for specific manufacturing challenges and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving.
• Create and maintain documentation including bills of materials, work instructions, routers, and jigs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with project management and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Knowledge of process design, work instructions, tooling, and production line optimization.
