Job Summary: The Front Office Agent at InterContinental The Clement Monterey will play a key role in creating a memorable and seamless guest experience for our guests. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the front desk, including check-in, check-out, and handling any guest inquiries or requests. The Front Office Agent will also assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel. Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $23 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner and provide the highest level of customer service at all times
• Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process
• Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs and requests are met
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Provide recommendations and assistance to guests for local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and satisfactory manner
• Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
• Prior experience in a front office or customer service role required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in computer systems and able to learn new software programs quickly
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
