Key Responsibilities
Development:
- Design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure funding from individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Manage relationships with donors, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Organize and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns to align with the organization's goals.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, managing reporting requirements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, pledges, and donor communications through our donor management system.
Finance:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking activities.
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and implement audit recommendations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 4-6 years of experience in nonprofit financial management and fundraising.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial management software and donor management systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Compensation:
- Full-Time (On-site in Boston, MA): $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Part-Time (Remote Eligible): $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience.
